Electric Ranger Conversion Project

The project, to take a standard Ford ranger and convert to electric vehicle for local use due to the high costs of fuel.
Having already built a electric bicycle and electric ATV, I thought it is time for this project.
I have chosen a 144 volt system with a Netgain Warp-9 motor, Curtis 1231c controller.

Abandon ship!

Well, if anyone has been following this painfully slow project and is still visiting....
I have given up on the truck due to many factors, primarily the cost of the batteries and performance that was to be realized.
On a positive note, I have taken the parts out of the truck and have started the MHO project
making a sporty EV from a Mazda RX 7.
This Mazda project is the original idea for my ev, bought 14 years ago 1987 mazda sat around and could not get titled, enter car two 1986 mazda glider.
Car 2 no engine and trans but good paperwork, so two become one, and truck dies of bad planning.
